I have been in clinical practice for more than 20 years in consultation and education on the treatment of four major addictions (alcohol, Internet, gambling, drugs) at the Catholic Abstain Addiction pastoral mimistry Committee.
Development of Addictive Family Treatment Program to Earn Ph.D. Published a number of related research books. 
Completed a training intensive course for drug addiction experts (CDP) in Seattle, the U.S.
Currently, I am a member of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety's specialized in drug judicial treatment rehabilitation.
I am a professional professor in charge of training and practice at DARC in Japan.

Dr. Kyung-ae Nam holds a Ph.D. in Social Pharmacy from the Catholic University of Korea and currently serves as a rehabilitation instructor at the Incheon KAADA. Her research focuses on the economic evaluation of drug diversion programs and substance use disorder treatment. With a multidisciplinary background combining pharmacy, economics, and the social sciences, she specializes in evidence-based analysis using systematic reviews and cost–benefit/effectiveness analysis to inform addiction prevention and rehabilitation policy.

Jaeseok Kwak is a specialist in the field of addiction and mental health, with extensive experience in both clinical practice and policy research. He has provided addiction prevention education, counseling, and psychological assessments for adolescents and adults, focusing on intervention strategies for various types of addiction, including digital media addiction, gambling, and substance use disorders.

He currently serves as a Senior Researcher at the Addiction Policy Research Institute, Department of Psychiatry, Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, The Catholic University of Korea. He has been actively involved in national research projects funded by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the National Research Foundation of Korea, and the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. His major research areas include the development of digital intervention systems, measurement tools for adolescent gambling problems, and national clinical guidelines for substance use disorders.

Academically, he has published several first-author articles in peer-reviewed journals such as the Korean Journal of Health Psychology and the Korean Journal of General Psychology, focusing on defensive language, gambling addiction, and digital addiction. He also possesses strong quantitative research skills, including network analysis and longitudinal study design.

By bridging counseling practice and policy-based research, he aims to contribute to solving pressing social issues through evidence-based psychological studies.

Research Professor, The Catholic University of Korea

Dr. Hae-ryoung Chun received her Ph.D. in Public Health from the Graduate School of Public Health at Seoul National University. She is currently a research professor at The Catholic University of Korea. Her research focuses on substance use disorders, including the Development of Korean standard treatment guidelines and psychosocial treatment programs for substance use disorder. She also serves as the general coordinator of Study on establishing a registry of patients with substance use disorders. Her academic interests include tobacco and alcohol use, drug addiction, and mental health. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals indexed in SCI, SSCI, and KCI. Her research aims to inform public health policy and support evidence-based clinical practice.

​Dr. Esther Kim specializes in Counseling and Clinical Psychology and is currently supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea as a Humanities and Social Sciences Research Professor. Her primary research interests lie in behavioral addictions among adolescents and young adults, particularly gambling and digital media addiction. She has conducted numerous studies on these topics and focuses on developing digital-based assessments and interventions for mental health promotion by leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI). Combining clinical experience with technological insights, Dr. Kim strives to provide evidence-based and practical solutions that can be applied in both research and practice.

Dr. Hyejin Lee specializes in Addiction and Psychological Counseling. She has experience as a professional translator and previously worked as a psychotherapist for several college Counseling Centers and a national government agency. Currently, she teaches courses including Addiction Counseling, Bibliotherapy and Narrative Counseling, and Addiction Policy Seminar.
